Soo Now
Soo Now is a local black and white print publication distributed to over 100 locations where Soo Now can be viewed/read. Soo Now is filled with “advertainment” which is a good mix of entertainment and advertising. With traditional forms of advertising being expensive, I wanted to provide a solution to help promote the local businesses, artists, vendors, merchants, events and organizations. Together we can help grow our community.
In addition to our affordable advertising spots in the Soo Now booklet, I also offer design and printing services.

September in Northern Ontario: A Season of Renewal
September in Northern Ontario is a time of transition, as the vibrant summer hues give way to the golden tones of autumn. The crisp, cool air carries the scent of fallen leaves and the promise of a new season. As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, the region transforms into a breathtaking canvas of nature’s artistry.
For many, September also marks the beginning of a new academic year. Students return to school, eager to embark on new adventures and expand their knowledge. The bustling energy of classrooms fills the air, as teachers and students alike prepare for a year of growth and discovery.
Whether you’re exploring the vibrant fall foliage, enjoying outdoor activities like hiking or fishing, or simply embracing the cozy atmosphere of home, September in Northern Ontario offers something for everyone. It’s a time to reflect on the past, embrace the present, and look forward to the future with renewed hope and optimism.

Spring Fishing
The most important aspect of spring fishing is to find the warmest water. Play the sun and the wind to your advantage. Try fishing a shallow bay that gets sun most of the day and even better if the wind is blowing the warm surface water into it. Over the years I have...

About Soo Now
Soo Now got started in July, 2022. I was provided with some encouragement to get started by a friend who believed in me and my skills/abilities. I then bounced the idea off of some other close friends and they too provided strong encouragement.
Soo Now started as an 8 page leaflet with a handful of businesses advertising with me. Since then, Soo Now has grown to a 32 page booklet, and sometimes 36 pages. It’s been an amazing journey thus far, meeting a plethora of talented and amazing people. I hope to continue this journey for a long time.
