Fish Cowboyz

Musky Lures

New Lures for Muskies. The realm of lures is ever-expanding, and especially-so on heavily pressured waters (and summer is nearly always the busiest for fishing too), this is a good thing for muskie anglers. No one knows for certain as to whether or not muskies think...

Fish Consumption

This issue I would like to talk about eating fish and what to think about or watch for before you decide on what you or your family are going to eat. For example, it takes approximately 6 years for a walleye to reach 18". It takes a smallmouth bass approximately 6-8...

Dog Days Of Summer

It is now the dog days of summer and a lot of the larger fish have settled in there summer areas. That means most anglers are seeing and catching less of the larger critters. This week I would like to turn your attention to finding the big ones again. This time of...

Spring Fishing

The most important aspect of spring fishing is to find the warmest water. Play the sun and the wind to your advantage. Try fishing a shallow bay that gets sun most of the day and even better if the wind is blowing the warm surface water into it. Over the years I have...

Not Just About Catching Fish

Fishing isn’t just about finding and catching fish, its also important to maintain your equipment that allows you to enjoy it. For instance, we are just finishing up the hard-water season and with that comes a list of things to do to maintain and store that gear...

About Soo Now

It's been an amazing journey thus far, meeting a plethora of talented and amazing people. I hope to continue this journey for a long time.
