When you know – you know.
When you open your eyes in the morning and they are your very first thought…
When you see something funny and can’t wait to tell them…
When you contemplate your future and include them in all your choices…
When they smile and your knees still get weak…
When they aren’t with you and the lonely ache is palpable…
When someone mentions their name and your heart skips a beat…
When they hurt – and it causes you physical pain…
When you sleep at night and still see them in your dreams…
You just know.
This is how being in love feels. It doesn’t matter if you met online…you become tied to your person on a different level. I never thought I would meet someone that I would connect with – let alone fall in love with – on a dating site. It never occurred to me that there were other genuinely good people seeking love…it never occurred to me that someone might be looking for “me”.
Someone is looking for you too – mark my words. Do not get disheartened. Do not give up. There is nothing wrong with being alone…but if you want to find your person – you will. My advice today? Never lose faith in your journey.
