Issue 4 Episode 4:

It’s now 12 pm the same day, noon hour news reports no injuries but quite a few cases of property damage within the vicinity of the explosion, mostly shattered windows from downtown businesses, store fronts and office buildings. In the lobby of a hotel on the downtown strip, Ichabode is trying to carry on with his day. He’s now at work but can’t focus. He’s the desk clerk and has been dealing with difficult guests since his shift started. His nerves are almost shot and to make matters worse, the lobby windows have been shattered. The noise pollution from the busy street is becoming insane. Cars are honking, people are screaming. He’s had this crumby job for years, and as he starts debating to himself whether he should quit or not, in walks Akasha. The rage that was brewing inside of him starts to subside. His clenched fists loosen up, his shoulders drop and a big smile adorns his face. “May I help you” he asks. She smiles and hands him a card. “You don’t speak” he says to her. She nods. He smiles back and in sign language says to her, ” I’m glad I took sign language classes.” She smiles and signs back “That was my boat that blew up this morning, I need a hotel room.”
