Morky wakes up to the sound of Zaza’s voice saying ‘Wake up!’ He finds himself lying on a soft grassy ground with his canine companions hovering above him and licking his face. He senses that all is quiet and asks them, ‘Did you see where the psychic gypsy lady went?’ They wag their tails, look around, up and down, then tilt their heads in confusion and start howling away with madness. Morky stands up, shakes himself off, and realizes that the camper, lights, bonfire, and music have disappeared. He thinks to himself, ‘I must have dreamed all of that!’ As he walks back towards his van, a gust of wind blows a badly weathered and torn fragment of The Sault Star by his feet. He steps on it to stop it from being blown away, picks it up, and reads the headline ‘NO MORE BORDER, THE 2 SOO’S BECOME 1’ dated for April 1, 2044.Front page of fictional newspaper

Ichabode is back at his apartment with Akasha. She is helping him with some light cleaning and keeping an eye out for his safety. While they are together, Akasha’s phone rings. It’s her sister Cassandra on the other end. Cassandra informs Akasha that she and Khonsu are finally on their way with the film reels. Khonsu had trouble fitting the projector into the back seat of the car. Akasha asks, ‘What was wrong with the trunk?’ Cassandra responds, ‘Khonsu says that most of its components are very sensitive and delicate. The soft padding of the back seat will prevent damage to them. In case of sudden stops, the seat belt will hold it in place and prevent bouncing.’ Akasha concludes, ‘Good thinking. That thing is a relic.’Page 3 of fictional newspaper - including overhead map shot of Sault Ste.
