Renata’s retort to Antoinnette’s Rhainnon comment had all three ladies laughing it up. Perhaps this was an excellent ice breaker for Renata being a future fixture for ‘Just A Purdy Face’. Once the ladies regained their composure after an extended laughfest, it was time to see what this Renata Simons is all about.
Antoinnette: “My oh my… I haven’t laughed that hard in awhile.”
Renata: “I hope that was… score a point for me.”
Jasmine: “I’ll score that as a point” as she held up one finger.
Antoinnette: “I will just go into the office and login into your profile. Jasmine dear, are you able to pretty this young lady up and get more acquainted?”
Jasmine: “Sure thing. Renata, I think I have everything ready. Let’s do this thing.”
Renata: “I can’t wait to see what you do to me.”
The two ladies chatted up a storm as they continued to get to know each other. Renata did mention that she never found the right fit when she admitted to being out of hairstyling for a while. She continued on that perhaps joining up with a new salon would bring back her passion for the business. Jasmine appreciated her honesty and was taken by her bubbly fun personality. She was however, concerned about why she bounced around so much in a relatively short period of time. Jasmine was determined on keeping an open mind with taking a chance on her. After all Miss A took a chance and a risk on herself.
Jasmine: “Ok… Almost done! Just a few more finishing touches, and you’re ready to go.” Jasmine holds up a mirror for Renata. “Ta-da! How do you like it? What do you think?”
Renata: “Oh my gosh!!! I love it!!. I wish had a place go out on the town now. Thank you so much!” She stood up and gave Jasmine a tremendous hug.
Jasmine: “Glad to do it for you. Just give me a minute and I will see if Miss A is done viewing your profile.”
Jasmine walked over to the office to get Antoinnette’s attention. She stood up first and emerged from the office with a satisfying grin.
Antoinnette: “I was done viewing Renata’s profile several minutes ago. I was just playing Candy Crush until you were done. Anyhow I was very impressed with her work. If you get a good sense that she’s a good fit, then she will be a welcomed addition to the team.”
Jasmine: “I think she will be a great addition here. We can tell her the good news together and critique the work I did on her.”
Antoinnette: “Very well. Proceed.”
Renata: “Well? What’s the good word?”
Antoinnette & Jasmine: “Welcome to the team!”
Renata: “Oh…I had a good feeling and I am now thrilled beyond belief. I can’t wait to get started!”
Antoinnette: “Young lady… You look absolutely stunning. Jasmine… Once again, flawless work. Ladies, the rain has let up. Why don’t I call up Nelson and we can go to lunch and really get to know each other.”
Renata: “I would love to join you for lunch.”
