With the team having invested interest in Oleg’s story, they were all further intrigued by what he unveiled and what he wanted to accomplish in the future. It did take an unusual request and some clever words to sell himself to be the one to take the remaining chair and fulfill the Just A Purdy Face cast.
Oleg: “One day, I dream of opening my own barbershop, paired with a high-end men’s clothing boutique and a cozy bar. While it might seem ambitious, my immediate goal is to reignite my passion and drive.”
Antoinnette: “Well! That is quite a life goal. Is it really going to help you when our prospected clientele are women?”
Oleg: “With all due respect madame. I do realize that. I can also say, with the utmost confidence, that my clients from Frank’s, which includes Mayor Jean Guy Touriney, Police Chief Wiggins, a few city administration officials, will all follow me here. They have wives and daughters who have friends and they have friends. That’s just a tiny snippet of my clients I have served.” I will promise you all, here and now, that I can be of great benefit to your team.
Dio: “He certainly doesn’t lack any confidence.”
Renata: “Wow… He definitely has my vote.”
Nelson: “He is here and he claims he can bring in the business. That equates to increased revenue. I say… Recipe for success.”
Jasmine: “Nelson isn’t wrong. We have nothing to lose. It fills the empty void.”
Mindy: “He does have quite the charm and personality. Over the past five minutes, it’s become quite clear that professionalism is a top priority for him.”
Oleg: “Thank you everyone for the encouraging words.”
Antoinnette: “Everyone, please take a moment. I appreciate all of your input. Mr. Travolofsky, I wish I could personally assess your work before making any decisions.”
Oleg: “I can accept that. I have a grooming kit in my car as we speak. I just need a volunteer and I can show you my work immediately.
How about you sir?” As he looked at Nelson standing beside him.
Jasmine: “Sure! Nelson… How about it? Let’s see what this gentleman has to offer!”
Renata: “I’m willing to bet he will be more than awesome.”
Nelson: “I’m… Hey.. Wait… I haven’t said anything about accepting the role of guinea pig.”
Antoinnette: “Brother, isn’t your year-end golf dinner party tomorrow night? You want to look good don’t you?”
Nelson: “Fine! Fine! …Fine! I will accept. Only if it’s on the house.”
Oleg: “But of course Sir. A trim and shave coming right up. Please everyone continue your party, and may I use one of your chairs to work please?”
Jasmine: “Oleg… Go ahead and use my chair. We are all looking forward to the end result.”
