This issue will give you a little insight into the life of a crazy fisherman, a fisherman with a well known disease called “Angleritis”. Fishing is a hobby to some but a way of life to others like myself. My seasonal Calendar consists of special fishing trips, tournaments and particular fishing days labeled as high activity based on lunar cycles. That is just the beginning in preparation, maintenance and execution of a crazy avid anglers schedule. Testing new baits, new equipment, discovering new lakes, rivers and species of fish is all top priority. Forcing yourself to fish out of your comfort zone is a great way to become a better angler, putting new ideas and patterns together on the water produces amazing results. Rarely an hour goes by without some sort of fishy thought, memory or idea. Heck, I have friends and family that won’t get in the boat with me because they know they will be stuck in the boat for 14hrs or more. If this sounds like you, then you also may have “Angleritis”. The only cure is to go and get it out of your system.
